Delete Account

We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your Hush account and all associated data, follow the steps below.

How to Delete Your Account In-App

1. Open the Hush app on your device.
2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon in the top-right corner).
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm twice when prompted — this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your Firebase Authentication account (sign-in credentials)
• All family group data associated with your account (premium sharing sessions)
• Your subscription link from our servers (subscription management via Apple/Google is handled separately — see below)

Subscription Cancellation (Apple & Google)

Deleting your Hush account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. To cancel your subscription:

• iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions and cancel Hush.
• Android: Go to Google Play → Subscriptions and cancel Hush.

Data Stored Only on Your Device

Hush stores your sound preferences and session settings locally on your device only. This data is not associated with your account and is automatically removed when you uninstall the app.

No Account? No Problem.

If you never signed in to Hush (most users don't), you have no server-side account. Simply uninstalling the app removes all local data.
